Ms. Janette Toral’s Writing Project for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2011 aims to identify NEW and EMERGING BLOGS that are making an impact to its readers this year. I’m joining in and without further ado, my votes would go to…
WHO: This blog belongs to Sis Willa, an Expat in Canada whom I am learning a lot from. WHAT: In this blog, she shares tips in blogging and other things that bloggers would find useful. WHY:Finally, I’m getting the hang of maintaining several personal blogs in various niches but I still consider myself very much a novice in blogging. Sis Willa’s blog offers tons of tips and advice that help me a lot. WHERE: http://www.thebloggersjournal.com
WHO: This blog belongs to Sis Levy, a loving mom to Ren and a caring wife to her blogger-husband Noel. WHAT: Levy shares her everyday adventures, mostly inspiring or delightful happenings in her life. WHY: Her blog is full of interesting posts – from her thoughts on selling Tuko to her first waxing experience! I love the way she writes and the way she makes her readers feel the way she feels about the positive stories she’s sharing. WHERE: http://www.levyousa.com
WHO: The blog is maintained by bloggers Mhel and Ken – and their mom is part of it too! WHAT: This blog offers recipes, food product reviews, restaurant reviews, special food promos, and more. WHY: I LOVE to eat (who doesn’t?)! and their blog feeds me with tips, tricks, and tactics that would satisfy my tummy. I also love how they make food tripping a fun-filled family bonding adventure. WHERE: http://www.certifiedfoodies.com/
WHO: Mommy Joy maintains this blog. She’s a SAHM with two sons and a loving hubby. WHAT: Notepad Corner is her personal blog and she share housekeeping and family management tips based on her experience. WHY: I am a newbie stay-at-home mom and I still need a lot of learning with regards to home management. Mommy Joy’s blog shares plenty of lessons – lessons which I’m positive to be very helpful in more of my years as a multitasking work at home mom. WHERE: http://www.notepadcorner.com
WHO: This nice blog belongs to Sis Pepper, a tough single mom. WHAT: This blog is her personal blog, a blog that documents the ups and downs of a single mom who struggles but successfully raises her kid on her own. WHY: Pepper is one strong woman I get inspiration from. Mommying is tough all on its own but she does it – with Daddying too! I find her stories always a great read for every independent woman who doesn’t want to be labelled as a damsel in distress. WHERE: http://pepperrific.com/
WHO: Sis Olga – a mom of a cute prince and a lovely princess – owns this blog. WHAT: This mom documents her learning experiences from raising her kids – their day to day activities, likes and dislikes, ups and downs, and more. WHY: I feel her. Her blog reminds me that IF we try to bloom where we are planted, then we’ll be able to appreciate and make the most of all the things we have been blessed with. WHERE: http://www.totteringmama.com
WHO: The busy bee super mom – a mother of four kids and a dozen blogs (or more) – Mommy Peh! WHAT: On this blog, she shares her vain side and in the process, she would make you realize that lip sticks can be your secret weapon and vain is good. WHY: I am not very ladylike in the sense that I don’t really put make up very often. Reading her blog reminds me that prettifying one’s self is necessary – especially if you have princesses who always try to dress up and groom themselves like you do. WHERE: http://www.mypaintedlips.com
WHO: The blog is one of the numerous blogs of Mommy Rubz, a one-of-a-kind proud mom of three. WHAT: The blogger decided to compile all of her positive, happy memories and stories in her online diary – Mom Writes. WHY: When you’re down or feeling uninspired, the only solution would be to count your blessings and Mommy Rubz does that. Her blog also reminds me that it’s not only what we have in life that would make us happy, what’s more important is what we do with all the blessings we get. WHERE: http://www.momwrites.com
WHO: The blog belongs to Sis Ria, a mom who passionately blogs about life. WHAT: Ria offers stories that will show us the importance of healthy, green living along with its many benefits. WHY: I have long pledged my love of Mother Earth and the importance of going green in my blogs. This blog shares my goal and it has been a source of many helpful green love tips. WHERE: http://www.mygreenlivingideas.com
and last but not the least;
WHO: I own this blog. I’m a full-time mom of three princesses and I work as a web content specialist – at home. WHAT: I give you tips in parenting, relationships, marriage, home management, self care, shopping, and other stuff that mommies (and dads, and other people who do a bit of mommying) often concern themselves with. WHY: I created this blog last February 2011, just a few days before my twin daughters turned a year old. As a mom of three super active toddlers, I know that parenting is a very rewarding experience BUT it’s not a walk in the park. It can be difficult, messy, and all the bad things you can think about BUT if we have a survival guide, then life as a mommy can be easier and more enjoyable and fulfilling. So, I made this blog. Fortunately, I got many positive comments on the stories and tips I have shared and a few of my posts have also been cited in some parenting websites. I know that I’d be able to share more valuable stories that can help my fellow moms and those around them. I would especially want to thank my Pinay Mommies Community for all the support and inspiration they’re giving me in maintaining and making this blog better. WHERE: http://mommysurvival.info
